Hans-Ulrich Wolff

Hans-Ulrich Wolff is an internationally experienced management consultant, starting his career in 1977 as Junior Economist at ATLANTA Consult, planning and implementing development projects in Africa and Asia. In 1983 he became Senior Economist at HWWA (Hamburg Institute for Economic Research), evaluating German bilateral development aid projects and conducting HWWA/UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) management workshops. In 1989 Mr Wolff continued his career as Head of the International Cross-Sectoral Department of PTB (National Institute for Physics and Meteorology, Brunswick/Berlin), planning and evaluating High-Tech industrial infrastructure projects in emerging countries. In 1992 he joined the Port and Shipping Sector at UNICONSULT Universal Transport Consulting, daughter company of HPC Hamburg Port Consulting, being as Director Ports and Shipping responsible for transport and management coaching projects, i. a. in the Cruise Industry Sector. Since 2016 Mr Wolff is working as a freelancer exclusively for “Cruise”, being designated by Hamburg Port Authority (HPA) as a Communication Manager for the EU BSR INTERREG GREEN CRUISE PORT project.

The Green Cruise Port Project (GCP) is part of the EU Interreg Baltic Sea Region (BSR) Programme 2014 – 2020 (www.intereg-baltic.eu). GCP embraces 20 partners, incl. associated organisations, which represent port authorities, cruise lines, a maritime research institute an a government body (www.greencruiseport.eu). Geographically it covers all BSR countries and neighbouring North Sea areas. «Lead Partner» is the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA), acting in the Hanseatic tradition of «Equal among Equals».
